Carlos Matias is the Founder of PropTech Solutions Inc., the holding company of leading global real estate technology companies, GryphTech Inc. and Phoenix Software Inc. With 25+ years serving real estate businesses in over 80 countries, Carlos has earned a reputation as a visionary leader and authority on global real estate. His unparalleled expertise in international real estate has earned the trust of the world’s largest real estate brands.

With offices and staff in Canada, Portugal, Sao Paulo, Costa Rica and Indonesia, PropTech Solutions is continuing to expand its worldwide presence and its position as hosting one of the largest user bases of Real Estate professionals outside of North America. Its major markets being Europe, South America and Asia.

Carlos, a Computer Systems graduate, began his career with leadership positions at BMW Group Canada followed by Ontario Teacher’s Pension Plan. Prior to starting his own companies, Carlos was the Vice President of IT of the European-based company, Immoeuro B.V., where he oversaw all facets of the company’s software platform and IT operations. He is an active member of Peerscale, and was acknowledged as a 2020, 2021 and 2022 RISMedia Newsmaker.

Carlos is frequently solicited for his advice and insight by industry leaders with whom he has long-standing relationships. Together, they make and influence decisions which shape the industry. Having traveled to over 60 countries, Carlos has spoken at countless industry events to inspire others and is an active participant in global industry and customer events. Carlos is fluent in English and Portuguese and divides his time between Toronto, Canada, Lisbon, Portugal and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
